The benefit is intended for the victim's direct dependents and also covers cases in which the murdered woman is transgender. To be eligible, the dependent must be under 18 years of age on the date of death and be a biological child, stepchild or minor under judicial custody or guardianship, as long as economic dependence is proven.

When there is more than one child who meets the requirements, the amount will be divided equally between them. The pension, however, does not include the payment of the 13th salary and cannot be accumulated with other INSS pensions or social security benefits.
The legislation also determines measures to protect minors. The author, co-author or participant in the feminicide cannot act as legal representative nor receive the amounts allocated to the dependent. When the minor is in institutional care, the director of the responsible institution must sign and manage the application.
To request the benefit, it is necessary to present identification documents, such as the minor's ID or birth certificate and CPF. Active and updated registration in the last two years in the Single Registry (CadÚnico) is also required, with the CPF of all family members.
In addition, an official document proving the feminicide must be presented. Among the documents accepted are a report of arrest in the act, an order of initiation or report of a police investigation, a complaint presented by the Public Prosecutor's Office or a criminal conviction.
The order can be made digitally through the Meu INSS app. Interested parties should search for the option “Special Pension – Dependents of Victims of Femicide”. If the system is unavailable, the request can be guided by Central 135.
