Delegate Katiúscia Pinheiro, head of the Robbery and Vehicle Theft Suppression Police Station, highlighted that false reports consume time, agents, vehicles and public resources in unfounded investigations. “This waste affects the efficiency of public security, because professionals and tools that should act on real crimes end up diverted to false demands,” said the delegate.
