The closing of the festival also marked the reading of the Goitacá Letter, a document prepared during the II Cinema and Audiovisual Seminar of the North and Northwest of Fluminense. The text presents itself as a manifesto in defense of public policies aimed at the internalization of cinema and audiovisual in the State of Rio de Janeiro and proposes the strengthening of initiatives aimed at professionals and producers who work outside of large centers. Next edition With the end of the second edition, the organization is already planning to hold a third edition of the festival. According to Fernando Sousa, the positive evaluation of the event increases the expectation of expanding the program and reaching new audiences and professionals in the coming years. “We closed with great joy, believing that we are heading towards a third edition, obviously growing and envisioning bigger steps”, he stated.
