He is being investigated for having links to Hércules Siqueira, wanted for shooting Rota PM Ronickson Pimentel, brother of Eloá Pimentel. More than 20 years ago, he was accused of committing a robbery together with Goliath. Galego was initially identified as Elenilson Misael da Silva, aged 47, with no previous record. In the registry as Elenilson Francisco, the suspect appears with the occupation of servant and resident of Peruíbe. When registered as Elenilson Misael, the suspect was not assigned any occupation. With these changes and the false name, anyone who did research on him in official bodies would not know about his criminal past. They were found with a ballistic vest from the company Protege, which also generated a complaint from the Public Ministry (MP) for reception. The court, however, concluded that there was not enough evidence to convict them of the crimes after the investigation phase. Known by the nicknames Goliath, Chavinho and Peruca, he was included on the International Police (Interpol) red list and can be arrested in any country. The São Paulo Public Security Secretariat (SSP-SP) is offering a reward of R$50,000 for information leading to his location and capture. Galego's death and investigation 'Galego' was the third suspect in the crime to be killed by the police. Initially, the SSP had reported that there was no evidence of his involvement in the attack. However, progress in the investigation changed the course of the case and confirmed the direct link between him and Hércules Siqueira. The death occurred on July 2nd.
