National Data From January 2023 to June 2026, Brazil opened 10,100,342 jobs with a formal contract. The stock of formal jobs reached 62,891,209. The five regions of the country created jobs during the period. In absolute numbers, the Southeast was ahead, with 3.78 million new contracts, followed by the Northeast, with 2.69 million. The North region presented the highest proportional growth among Brazilian regions, with an increase of 34.7%. The Services sector led the growth of formal employment in Brazil. The segment added 8.45 million new jobs and increased its presence in the job market to more than 60% of total active vacancies.
