The electoral law requires, however, that candidates are regularly affiliated with the party for which they will run at least six months before the election and, therefore, affiliation with Missão prevents the PL from registering Flávio's candidacy with the Electoral Court.
The deadline for registration ends at 7pm on Saturday (15th). The election campaign officially begins the next day, on August 16th.
