Five people are injured after an app-based transport car overturned at an intersection in Ribeirão Pre Five people were injured after an app-based transport car overturned after being hit by another vehicle on Sunday night (5), in Ribeirão Preto (SP). The accident happened at the intersection of Nove de Julho, Portugal and Antônio Diederichsen avenues, one of the busiest areas of the city. According to information gathered by CBN at the scene, the driver of one of the cars made a prohibited left turn before hitting the app vehicle, which was carrying three passengers. With the force of the impact, the app car overturned and stopped in a construction site. Three passengers were rescued by the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) and taken to health units. Until the last update of this report, there was no detail about the fifth injured person nor official information about the health status of the victims. According to initial information, the injuries were not considered serious. In the other vehicle was a couple, who remained at the scene to monitor the incident. The Military Police informed that the breathalyzer test would be recorded later in the police report. Because of the crash, there was an oil spill on the track. The Fire Department was called to control the material and prevent further accidents. The vehicles were removed on Sunday night. The causes of the accident will be investigated by the Civil Police.
