The regional superintendent of Sesi Mato Grosso, Alexandre Serafim, pointed out that the training center was born in a scenario that demands concrete answers. “The world of work has changed, technologies have evolved and Sesi has chosen to evolve together, with a complex that was born to promote a significant cultural change in accident prevention, with a direct impact on reducing occurrences”, he states.
For the president of the Federation of Industries of Mato Grosso System (Fiemt System), Silvio Rangel, as the industry grows, the responsibility of ensuring increasingly safe working environments also increases. In the last ten years, Mato Grosso's industrial sector grew by around 40% in the state, going from approximately 11,500 to 16,500 industries, while the number of workers reached almost 198,000.

The chief prosecutor of the Public Ministry of Labor in Mato Grosso (MPT-MT), Thaylise Campos, highlighted that safety standards can never be treated as a cost or bureaucracy. “They represent a commitment to life and human dignity”, he states.
The judge-president of the Regional Labor Court of the 23rd Region, Aguimar Martins Peixoto, highlighted the impact of the initiative in reducing accidents. “After workers undergo this type of training, incidents will certainly decrease, and this represents a great advance for our country”, he comments.
South Korean technology
Representing the South Korean company Youngwoo Industry, responsible for manufacturing the Sesi Experience equipment, CEO Oh Young Hoon highlighted that the partnership with Sesi MT marks the arrival in Brazil of an internationally recognized solution for preventing workplace accidents. Operating in 22 countries, the company chose Mato Grosso to implement one of the most innovative projects in immersive occupational health and safety training.

Industry approves CT and aims to reduce accidents
Data from the Work Accident Report (CAT), from the National Social Security Institute (INSS), show that Brazil recorded 561.3 thousand work accidents in 2025. Of this total, 196.4 thousand occurred in industry, equivalent to 35% of the occurrences in the country. In the same period, the country recorded 2,400 deaths due to work accidents, 885 of which in industry.
In Mato Grosso, 11,037 accidents were recorded in 2025, 4,268 of which were in industry, a sector responsible for 39% of cases. Fingers accounted for 23% of injuries, followed by feet (9.4%) and hands (9.2%). The state recorded 100 deaths, with 45 reported in the industry.
Aware of the growing number of accidents in the workplace, the industrial and agro-industrial sector celebrates the new era of worker training. "It's the first time I've seen a training center with this level of simulation. I was already familiar with virtual reality training, but here the experience is much more complete", points out the director of Human Resources at RZK Agro, John Deere's agricultural machinery and equipment dealer, Renato Augusto Braguetto.
Frigorific Agra's Human Resources manager, André Alves, believes that the complex will open up new training possibilities for the company's employees. "This experience makes training much more effective, because it generates awareness. I'm sure that a future partnership with SESI will be a great differentiator for us."
The leader of the Bayer Production Unit in Campo Verde, Gabriela Pereira, also highlighted the structure of the enterprise. "The structure is fantastic and demonstrates an important investment in innovation for workplace safety. The simulations are very well planned and provide an experience that really leaves an impression on the employee. It is a tool that industries can use to develop more prepared professionals, expand accident prevention and strengthen safe practices in the workplace.”
