The MG4 Urban uses an electric platform, with a battery integrated into the car's structure (CTP technology, or cell-to-body). According to the manufacturer, the solution helps to improve structural rigidity, reduce the center of gravity and optimize internal space.

At 4.39 m long, 1.84 m wide, 1.55 m high and with a wheelbase of 2.75 m, the model is larger than the BYD Dolphin and Geely EX2. This is reflected in the passenger space and the 477-liter trunk, which can reach 577 liters considering the compartment under the floor. Both versions use a front electric motor, with power differences depending on the battery chosen. The warranty for the car is 7 years or 150 thousand km. The batteries have a warranty of 8 years or 160 thousand km. The company already has a partnership with a logistics warehouse and with more than 3,000 items in Cajamar (SP). Revisions are every 24,000 km and, according to MG, the estimate is that the owner will spend R$600 per year in the first 3 years with the MG4 Urban.
