During the execution, one of the targets ended up being arrested in the act.

The investigations of the second phase of the operation began with the arrest in the act of a 45-year-old woman, identified as an operational member of a criminal faction in Cáceres, which occurred on April 7th, at the start of Operation Coroa Quebrada I, which investigated the crime of promoting or establishing a criminal organization.

The investigations showed that the suspect was actively involved in the sale of drugs in the city and was linked to a criminal faction present in Cáceres, maintaining contact with known factions in the police.

One of them, aged 26, is the person responsible for charges related to drug trafficking in Cáceres, a role known as “collection”.

The investigations also showed that when the suspect's son was imprisoned at the Pontes e Lacerda Detention Center, he co-opted other inmates to join the criminal faction and requested the delivery of drugs for resale within the penitentiary unit.

In light of the investigation, the delegated Civil Police represented search and seizure warrants at the residences of the suspect responsible for the charges and the suspect's 45-year-old son, which were granted by the Court.

A 7.62 caliber rifle and 42 rounds of ammunition of the same caliber were located in the 26-year-old suspect's home. He was arrested for illegal possession of a restricted firearm.

Investigations continue to identify other members of the criminal faction.
