RIO DE JANEIRO, RJ (UOL/FOLHAPRESS) - The cast of Marília Mendonça's biopic was announced, but one of the names portrayed in the story became the subject of controversy.
The wife of composer Juliano Tchula stated that he did not authorize the use of his image in the production. Marília's partner in hits such as "De Quem é a Culpa" and "Amante Não Tem Lar", the musician will be played by actor Luccas Oliver.

When responding to followers, Flavi Soares stated that she and her husband prefer to live “in peace”. She also said that the composer does not want to be honored for “what he does not believe in”.
The biopic of Marília Mendonça is being produced by Amazon Prime Video. So far, the production has not commented on the allegation made by Juliano Tchula's wife.
In 2021, the composer moved away from the country market after converting to the Evangelical Church. Since then, the composer began to follow another path in his professional career.
