Haven also read a statement expressing the hope that family members and others would choose "love over fear" and "understanding over judgment." He added that he hoped people would see him with "the same heart, the same laugh, the same soul that they've always known."
The former actor starred alongside Jolie in 'Gia' (1998) and 'Original Sin' (2001), and accompanied her to the 2000 Oscars, where she won the award for Best Supporting Actress for 'Girl Interrupted' (1999). He will also launch the 'Safe Haven' podcast, featuring weekly conversations about personal journeys.
