WHAT IS BOLSA FAMÍLIA?
It is an income transfer program created in 2003, within the scope of the Fome Zero Program, aimed at families in situations of poverty and extreme poverty. Payment is made by Caixa, and the program is managed by the Ministry of Development and Social Assistance.
WHO HAS THE RIGHT?

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AMOUNT OF BOLSA FAMÍLIA AND ADDITIONAL ADDITIONS?
According to the rules, Bolsa Família cannot be worth less than R$600 per family, including those with only one member, called single-person families.
Anyone who has a child up to six years old will receive R$150 for each child. As a result, the benefit increases. WHAT ARE THE RULES FOR RECEIVING THE BENEFIT?

These include prenatal care for pregnant women, compliance with the national vaccination calendar and monitoring the nutritional status of children under seven years of age.
Minimum school attendance of 60% for children aged four and five and 75% for children and adolescents aged six to 18 who have not yet completed basic education is also required. When enrolling the child in school or taking them for vaccinations, the family must inform them that they are beneficiaries of Bolsa Família.
