Atem Distribuidora turns 26 years old with a presence in 13 states

Atem Distribuidora was born in Manaus and is present in 13 states, with 14 distribution bases, more than 490 branded stations and six Private Use Terminals (TUPs). Founded in Manaus in 2000, the company is present in 13 states and maintains a structure that includes 14 distribution bases, more than 490 flagged stations and six Private Use Terminals (TUPs). The storage capacity reaches 212 million liters and the distributed volume exceeds 2 billion liters. The operation reaches Amazonas, Acre, Amapá, Roraima, Rondônia, Pará, Tocantins, Maranhão, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Goiás, São Paulo and Santa Catarina. It also supplies fuel to 80% of thermoelectric plants in the Northern Region, contributing significantly to the regions' energy security. Present among the 10 largest distributors by volume in Brazil, according to the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP), the distributor is part of the Atem Group, an Amazonian conglomerate that brings together businesses in the fuels, logistics, energy, oil refining and shipbuilding sectors. To carry out this work, Atem relies on the support of the Atem Group's logistics structure, made up of more than 200 tanker trucks, 50 tanker barges and 20 pushers. In 2003, the first time it appeared in the list of the largest taxpayers of the State Department of Finance (Sefaz-AM), the distributor occupied 387th position. Since 2018, it has remained among the 50 largest taxpayers in the State. In 2024, it ranked 35th. In the 2026 partial survey, it appears in 36th place. The ranking helps to measure the company's participation in state revenue. ICMS is one of the main sources of revenue for Amazonas and the resources collected are part of the budget used by the public authorities in areas such as health, education, security and infrastructure. Part of this revenue is also allocated to municipalities. Other Atem Group companies appear at the top of the Sefaz list. The Manaus Refinery (REAM), for example, was the second largest taxpayer in the State in 2025 and occupies fourth place in the survey for the first half of 2026. The economic activity generated by fuel distribution also involves the network of stations, bases, terminals, transporters, suppliers and service providers that participate in the operation. Social projects Part of Atem's investments are directed to social, environmental, scientific and sporting projects. In health, the company supports the Instituto Super Doadoras, an initiative aimed at encouraging voluntary blood donation and mobilizing donors to contribute to the stocks of the Amazonas Hospital Foundation of Hematology and Hemotherapy (Hemoam). Casa Vidah is among the organizations supported by the distributor, which contributes monthly to the maintenance of its activities and to the continuity of care for people in vulnerable situations.
