In addition to the four victims who reported situations characterized as sexual harassment, another woman contacted the Police Station to report domestic and family violence. In this case, the victim had initially consented to the approach and maintained a brief relationship with the person being investigated. When he decided to end the relationship, however, he did not accept the end and began to pursue her and insist on maintaining contact, even against her will. The Civil Police reinforces the importance of women who are victims of sexual harassment, stalking or any form of violence contacting the police authorities and reporting them. According to the young woman, the victim said that the man insisted on kissing her, made comments about her physical appearance and followed her for a few meters. The victim, who did not want to identify himself or give an interview, was interviewed by the Civil Police on the 3rd and requested an urgent protective measure against the suspect, who had already been identified, but whose name was not revealed. According to the police, the suspect has no relevant criminal record, just a record of threat, from 2021, which would not be related to violence against women. In the video, the young woman says that she felt intimidated by the man who, according to her, persistently tried to get closer. Afraid, she went into a store, called her mother and asked her to come and pick her up. "She acted correctly, looking for an establishment where there would be other witnesses to ensure her safety.
