According to Aleam's general director, Wander Motta, the process will follow the determination of the STF and the rules set out in the House's Internal Regulations. "We are complying with the determination of the STF minister, Flávio Dino, and obeying the Internal Regulations. All deputies can apply and have until 3pm to register their candidacy", he stated. According to Motta, the new president will be elected by the majority of votes from the 24 state deputies. "If there is a tie, the oldest deputy wins. Composition of the Board of Directors Aleam's Board of Directors is made up of: President; 1st, 2nd and 3rd vice presidents; Secretary General; 1st, 2nd and 3rd secretaries; Ombudsman; Corregidor. The Internal Regulations also provide that the composition of the Board respects proportionality between parties and parliamentary blocs and seeks to guarantee, whenever possible, the participation of at least one woman among its members.
