Águas de Manaus Theater Show has free shows until Sunday (16)

Fertile in Arid Land Disclosure/Águas de Manaus The second edition of the Águas de Manaus Theater Show runs until Sunday (16) with a free program of circus shows and musical attractions. The presentations occupy spaces in the North, West and Center of the Amazonian capital, reinforcing the project's commitment to offering art to the entire population. This Friday (14), the Padre Pedro Vignola Family Family Coexistence Center, in the Cidade Nova neighborhood, north of Manaus, will host, from 6pm, the production “Aaarrg! Piratas!”, an Amazon production that combines theater, circus and live music in an adventure through the “seas of the Rio Negro”. Afterwards, at 8pm, “Luiz Lua Gonzaga”, by Grupo Magiluth, one of the main collectives of contemporary Brazilian theater, will be presented, in a poetic tribute to the King of Baião. The program for the 2nd Águas de Manaus Theater Show continues on Saturday (15), starting at 7pm, at the Ponta Negra Amphitheater, with the scenic-musical show Samba das Moças, which celebrates female protagonism in samba, paying homage to great names such as Alcione, Clara Nunes and D. Ivone Lara. At 9pm, singer Uendel Pinheiro takes the stage with a repertoire of the best samba and pagode. On Sunday (16), the event ends with a program at the Center. At 4pm, actor Marcos Efraim presents the award-winning clowning show O Sarau do Feupuudo, at Casarão de Ideias, on Rua Saldanha Marinho. At 5pm, the agenda continues at Largo São Sebastião, with Fértil em Terras Áridas, a new work by the company Ateliê 23. To close the second edition of the Exhibition, Luiz Lua Gonzaga will be re-presented at 7pm, also at Largo. Samba das Moças Disclosure/Águas de Manaus About the Exhibition The Águas de Manaus Theater Exhibition is held by the Federal Government, through the Ministry of Culture (MinC), and by the Brazilian Theater Institute (iBT). The event features a presentation by the concessionaire Águas de Manaus, institutional support from Benevolência and support from the Union of Passenger Transport Companies of the State of Amazonas (Sinetram), in addition to cultural support from the Amazonas Theater Federation (Fetam).
