“This new machine took just over three months to develop and has significant room for further improvements over the next few months,” said Unitree in the description of the video published on its YouTube channel.

Unitree debuts on the Shanghai Stock Exchange with strong appreciationThe presentation of the new robot occurs in the same period in which Unitree Robotics debuted on the Shanghai Stock Exchange. The manufacturer's shares rose 629.4% during the session.
The shares began trading on the STAR Market, a segment of the Shanghai Stock Exchange focused mainly on technology companies, at 1,100 yuan. The price initially set by the company was 150.8 yuan per share.
In the initial public offering, Unitree raised 6.1 billion yuan by selling 40.4 million shares.
The manufacturer had submitted an application to enter the Shanghai Stock Exchange in March. Approval occurred 73 days later, a period considered a record for the market. During the share reservation period, demand would have exceeded supply by more than eight thousand times.
The operation valued the company at around 7.8 billion euros. According to the Value Add VC portal, Unitree appears behind two North American competitors in the sector: 1X Technologies, supported by OpenAI, and Figure AI, which has investments from Nvidia and Microsoft.
Almost half of the funds raised in the offering will be directed to research and development of intelligent models for robots. The company also plans to invest in robotic structures, new products and the creation of an intelligent manufacturing center.
Humanoid robots have gained ground in ChinaFounded in 2016 and headquartered in Hangzhou, eastern China, Unitree produces humanoid and quadruped robots, as well as components such as robotic hands, collaborative arms and sensors.
The company gained international recognition with public demonstrations of its equipment, including presentations at the traditional Lunar New Year gala shown by Chinese state broadcaster CCTV.
Humanoid robots already represent more than half of Unitree's revenue. The company, however, recognizes that large-scale production of its latest model may take time, mainly because robotic hands still need to advance in precision and durability.
According to data released by the Chinese government, more than 140 companies in the country had already launched, in 2025, more than 330 models of humanoid robots.
Unitree also claims that around 90% of its supply chain is located in China, where advanced technologies and industrial applications of artificial intelligence are considered strategic.
In July, the United States banned the import of humanoid robots produced abroad on the grounds of risks to national security. The measure mainly affects Chinese manufacturers in the sector.
