Video shows car on fire next to fuel pumps inside AM A Kombi caught fire and was completely destroyed at a gas station in Iranduba, in the Metropolitan Region of Manaus, on Sunday afternoon (16). Images recorded by witnesses show the Kombi engulfed in fire. The flames mainly affected the side and rear of the vehicle. A large column of black smoke could also be seen in the distance. According to an investigation by Rede Amazônica, the driver noticed the fire starting while he was still at the gas station. He managed to drive the vehicle to the edge of the road, moving it away from the fuel pumps and the structure of the establishment. ? The situation caused apprehension among employees, customers and people passing by due to the proximity to the fuel tanks. To prevent the fire from reaching other vehicles or facilities, gas station attendants used fire extinguishers to initially combat the flames. The causes of the fire are still unknown. The case must be investigated by the competent authorities.
