"Today we have a lot of information on the internet, but it is often conflicting information. In a situation like this, it is necessary to seek guidance from qualified people, understand the type of force and how to carry out the maneuver in practice", he explained. Allysson, who has worked for more than a decade at the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) in Juiz de Fora and is also a professor of health at the Federal University of São João del Rei (UFSJ), reinforced the need to know the correct technique and execute it. "It is very important to know the technique of the maneuver. My wife is an electrical engineer and she herself said that perhaps she didn't know exactly how to apply the correct force. It's not just about applying force, there is a correct way to carry out the procedure", he concluded.
