Three are arrested on suspicion of trying to steal a load of household appliances in Campinas

Three men were arrested for trying to steal a truck carrying household appliances valued at R$80,000, this Friday morning (14), at km 144 of Rodovia Dom Pedro I, in Campinas (SP). The driver of the vehicle said he stopped at a service station on the track and called the Highway Police after realizing that he was being followed by criminals in a car from Viracopos International Airport. Upon arriving at the scene, officers located and approached the suspects' vehicle. The action was supported by military police teams. ? According to the police, two of the men already had police records, one for the crime of robbery and the other for receiving possession. The three were taken to the 1st Police District of Campinas, where the case was registered.
