Masonic Tour takes visitors to historic temples in Curitiba

Few people know, but Curitiba offers a unique experience for those who want to get to know Freemasonry up close. The Masonic Tour, operated by Serra Verde Express, takes the public to temples and historical spaces linked to the fraternity in the capital of Paraná. With departures from Monday to Friday, always at 2pm, and capacity for up to 30 people per group, the proposal is to bring together scholars, members of the order and those curious about the history, symbols and curiosities of Freemasonry in Paraná and the world. “The tour aims to bring the public closer to Masonic history and symbolism, promoting knowledge and respect for tradition”, says Adonai Arruda Filho, general director of Serra Verde Express. A walk through the history of Freemasonry Present in different parts of the world since the 18th century, Freemasonry played a relevant role at different moments in history, bringing together symbols, traditions and characters that arouse the curiosity of scholars and the general public. In Paraná, personalities such as Zacarias de Góes e Vasconcelos, Generoso Marques dos Santos, the Baron of Serro Azul and the Viscount of Nácar joined the order and are part of the history of Freemasonry in the state. How the itinerary works The Masonic Tour lasts approximately four hours, with departures from Monday to Friday, always at 2pm, and capacity for up to 30 people per group. There is also the possibility of exclusive experiences for closed groups.
