Inspections point to irregularities in material deposits in Florida Paulista and Ourinhos The Court of Auditors of the State of São Paulo (TCE-SP) carried out a new surprise inspection and found irregularities in the warehouses of the municipal education departments of Florida Paulista (SP) and Ourinhos (SP). In the warehouse, damage to walls, apparent signs of infiltration and rusty materials were identified. When questioned, the City of Florida Paulista stated that the TCE inspection only pointed out this situation and that measures are being taken to resolve it. In a statement, the city council stated that the books and uniforms were purchased without consulting the teachers, who were already using materials provided by the state government, which made the use of the items purchased by the Municipal Department of Education unfeasible. Ourinhos City Hall also said that it will look for a way to correctly allocate the materials, in addition to correcting situations considered precarious in the municipal warehouse.
