'You will always be the great love of my life', says mother after boy is found dead on land in Maceió

One day after the crime, the great-uncle, Emanuel Vicente, aged 46, was arrested on suspicion of sexually abusing and killing the child. He denies the crime. "This 46-year-old man is an uncle and the main suspect of the sexual abuse and murder of the child. The Legal Medical Institute (IML) is the one who will determine the cause of death, but we are already working with the possibility that the victim was suffocated to death", explained the delegate. Emanuel Vicente was arrested on suspicion of killing his grandnephew in Maceió Divulgação/PM-AL Hours later, Érika Santos contacted her ex-husband to ask about her son and was informed that the boy had been left at his great-uncles' house. When she arrived at the scene, she found no one. Faced with the situation, the family began searching. According to witnesses, the child was seen holding hands with a man, walking towards the vacant lot covered in weeds. Shortly afterwards, the man would have left the place alone. A family member went to the land and found Peterson Ykaro's body. Prison Emanuel Vicente was located and arrested near Utinga Station, in the capital of Alagoas, on Tuesday (7). He was detained by station guards, who called the Military Police.
