He is an effective servant of the Legislative Assembly and has been assigned to the State since the beginning of the Mauro Mendes Government (Union), in 2019.

"Tomorrow I will pay a visit to the Legislative Assembly, and the procedure will be normal. Otaviano is my brother, my friend, since the time when Jonas Pinheiro (who died in 2008) was a federal deputy. We have a history together", said Adjaime.

The server takes over the Department amid strategic departures by Pivetta's group from management, due to Operation Heritage, launched by the Federal Police, last week, to investigate a possible scheme in the R$308 million agreement signed between the State and the telephone company Oi.

The first to resign from his position was State Attorney General Francisco Lopes, on Friday night (7). He was also one of the targets of the operation. Still as a result of the investigation, late this morning the candidate for Pivetta's vice president, Fábio Garcia, announced his withdrawal from running for the role.

Fabio said that he will run for re-election in the Federal Chamber, as he understands that it would be difficult to run a campaign under precautionary measures not to talk to those being investigated. Among those investigated in the operation are Mauro Carvalho and his family, and former governor Mauro Mendes, as well as Fábio Garcia himself.
