All were taken to the hospital by the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu), underwent emergency medical procedures and, after evaluation by the team, were discharged. A 37-year-old woman needed emergency surgery after being admitted to the unit. According to the hospital, she remains hospitalized and her clinical condition is normal. Remember the accident The accident happened around 2:30 pm on Wednesday (15), at kilometer 31 of BR-412, in São João do Cariri, close to the municipality of Cabaceiras. According to the Federal Highway Police (PRF), the incident involved a trailer loaded with ore and passenger cars. According to witnesses, one of the vehicles stopped on the shoulder and then the trailer collided with the cars. They were traveling in a caravan that left Petrolina, in Pernambuco, heading to Campina Grande, where they would participate in a religious event at an evangelical church. According to a note released by the Verbo da Vida denomination, Alba Simões was vice-president of the NGO Movimento; Gean Santos pastored the Verbo da Vida Church in Queimada Nova, Piauí; and teenager Ruth Gomes gathered at Verbo da Vida in Petrolina.
