City Hall begins construction of the 2027 Events Calendar

The City of Rio das Ostras, through the Secretariat of Economic Development and Tourism, held a meeting with producers and organizers of events in the municipality to begin the process of creating the 2027 Official Calendar of Events. The meeting took place in the Secretariat's auditorium and brought together representatives of cultural, gastronomic, sporting, entertainment events and other segments with potential tourism relevance. The initiative is part of the Municipal Administration's strategy of structuring, in advance, the annual calendar of events, allowing greater organization of activities, alignment between organizers and public authorities, in addition to strengthening tourism as a vector of economic development. ADVANCE PLANNING – During the opening of the meeting, the Secretary of Economic Development and Tourism, Pablo Kling, presented the guidelines for preparing the calendar and highlighted the importance of event tourism for the economy of Rio das Ostras. According to him, a consolidated calendar provides greater predictability for the entire tourism production chain, benefits entrepreneurs and expands the municipality's promotional capacity. "We are building a calendar in advance because planning generates results. A municipality that organizes its events with predictability strengthens its economy, values ??its producers and offers more security for those who wish to invest, participate or visit Rio das Ostras. This work also demonstrates the Municipal Administration's commitment to encouraging the production of events and consolidating the city as an increasingly structured and competitive tourist destination", stated the secretary. DIGITAL REGISTRATION – The meeting presented the new event registration flow through Rio das Ostras Digital, on the Colab platform, which will now concentrate requests related to the Official Events Calendar. The use of the digital platform represents yet another advance in the modernization of public services, providing greater transparency, agility and standardization in receiving event information. SOCIETY PARTICIPATION – The initiative was praised by the producers and organizers present, who highlighted the benefits of early organization and the digitalization of processes. For the executive director of Like Produtora, Paulo Moreira, the measure represents progress for the sector. "As a producer, I'm happy to see the city investing in tools that modernize processes. This makes the work of those who organize events easier and helps Rio das Ostras continue to strengthen its vocation for hosting major cultural initiatives." Event producer Roger Vilela also highlighted the importance of the initiative. "I think it's an initiative that highlights the importance of reducing bureaucracy and speeding up the process. It makes things clearer and, most importantly, promotes an effective annual calendar in the municipality." The presentation was led by the secretary and server and web designer Rodrigo Mello. On the occasion, the tool's operation was demonstrated and the stages of the process were explained and participants' doubts were clarified. In addition to learning about the system, producers had space to make suggestions and contribute to improving the calendar organization process. STRENGTHENING TOURISM – The early construction of the Official Events Calendar will allow organizers, entrepreneurs, accommodation facilities, bars, restaurants, service providers, agencies and tourism operators to plan their activities further in advance. The expectation is to expand the publicity of the events, stimulate the flow of visitors throughout the year and further strengthen Rio das Ostras as an organized and competitive tourist destination. The Department of Economic Development and Tourism expects the 2027 Official Calendar of Events to be launched in November, bringing together initiatives capable of boosting the economy, valuing local production and contributing to the municipality's tourism development. The meeting also included representatives from various Government departments and local authorities involved in holding events, such as the Fundação Rio das Ostras de Cultura, the Sub-Secretariat of Sports and Leisure, the Municipal Civil Guard and the Posture Inspection Coordination. This participation allowed the producers and organizers present to clarify doubts and learn, in an integrated way, the procedures related to the organization of events in the municipality.
