External Collection Outpost of the Hemominas Foundation opens in Ipatinga On its first day of operation, this Wednesday (15), the External Collection Outpost (PACE) of the Hemominas Foundation, in Ipatinga, brought together 30 donors. The unit, which opened at the end of June, aims to facilitate blood donation, as previously it was necessary to travel to Governador Valadares. Receiving our first donors shows that the population has embraced this achievement. PACE was created to make life easier for those who want to donate and, above all, to expand this gesture of solidarity that saves lives every day", said PACE coordinator, Monise Fonseca. "It is a great joy to participate in this first day. Knowing that we can now donate blood here in Ipatinga makes it much easier and will certainly encourage more people to do the same. According to City Hall, the intention is to gradually increase the number of donors, as highlighted by Mayor Gustavo Nunes.
