Police arrest second brother of missing young man in park in the interior of SP

Men are arrested in Pedregulho, SP, on suspicion of receiving bags of corn. The Civil Police arrested this Monday (13) the second brother of Tiago Gomes Pereira, missing since June 21st in Furnas do Bom Jesus Park, in Pedregulho (SP). According to the police, Cassiano Gomes Pereira is suspected of involvement in a theft of bags of corn in Sacramento (MG), the same crime that led Carlos Alberto Gomes Pereira to prison last Wednesday (8). Cassiano was the one who found Tiago's bicycle during the search for his missing brother, around two weeks ago in a coffee plantation near the park. Last Wednesday, the Minas Gerais Police reported that Tiago, who disappeared at the end of June after going cycling in the park, reported that he had been arrested on suspicion of participating in the theft of corn. In the operation launched by the Minas Gerais police this Monday, two brothers who owned an agricultural house in Pedregulho were also arrested. Two people are considered fugitives.
