Image of Our Lady of Aparecida, in Petrolina Reproduction: TV Grande Rio The Parish of Our Lady of Aparecida, in Petrolina, in the Sertão of Pernambuco, receives the pilgrim image of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. The sculpture of the saint came from the basilica, in Recife. The visit is part of the Jubilee Year celebrations, in which the 775 years of tradition of the delivery of the Holy Scapular of Mount Carmel are celebrated. The program in Petrolina began at the Parish of Nossa Senhora Aparecida, in the Vila Eduardo neighborhood. The image will pass through other communities until the end of the month.
