Investigations began on July 6, after the young woman was reported missing. During the investigation, the police reconstructed the victim's last steps and identified that she was with her partner in Pedra do Sal, in the Port Zone of Rio de Janeiro. Then, the two went to a hotel on Rua do Ouvidor, in the center of the capital. Images from security cameras analyzed by the police show the suspect leaving the place alone and, later, transporting Bianca's body — now lifeless — to a vehicle. Based on the images and other elements gathered by the team, investigators concluded that he headed towards Miguel Pereira. Investigations also showed that, on the morning of his disappearance, the suspect was on a farm in the Miguel Pereira region, where he asked to borrow a shovel and a hoe, claiming he was going to do some work. The case remains under investigation by the Civil Police, which is working to clarify all the circumstances of the crime.
