Operation against PCC fulfills warrants in SP and SC for kidnapping, torture and extortion of a lawyer

The Military Police are trying to arrest and execute search and seizure warrants against seven people being investigated for involvement in the crimes of criminal organization, kidnapping, extortion, torture and threats carried out by members of a faction against a lawyer from Baixada Santista. The action, this Wednesday (12), is in support of the Special Action Group to Combat Organized Crime (GAECO), of the Public Ministry of São Paulo. ?Download the g1 app to see news from SP in real time and for free Operation 'Patrocínio Fiel' was planned with the aim of interrupting the criminal activities of those under investigation, identified as members of the First Command of the Capital (PCC), preserving the integrity of the victim and seeking evidence to advance the investigations. The search and seizure warrants were carried out at addresses in Guarujá, São Vicente, Praia Grande and Cubatão, in Baixada Santista, in São Paulo, in addition to Florianópolis, in Santa Catarina. The warrants are being carried out by ROTA, 3rd Shock Battalion, Kennel and COE. The judicial measures reached the homes of those being investigated, commercial establishments linked to the criminal group and the property identified by the investigations as the place where the victim had been held captive.
