According to the city hall, the changes will be divided into stages. Initially, they start this Friday and continue until Sunday (16). See what changes below: ? Join the g1 AM channel on WhatsApp On the 14th and 17th of August, from 7am to 6pm, anyone going up Avenida Brasil towards Ponta Negra will not be able to continue as they normally do. The section will be closed for the installation of beams. Vehicles will be forced to follow Avenida Coronel Teixeira, towards the Center, and will be able to turn around at Hiper DB Ponta Negra or at the Carrefour roundabout. On the 15th and 16th, from 7am to 6pm, anyone going up Avenida Brasil and wanting to head towards the Center will no longer be able to enter the loop normally used. Drivers should enter the contraflow, to the right, and exit near Hiper DB Ponta Negra. Agents from the Municipal Urban Mobility Institute will be at blocking and diversion points to guide drivers and ensure safety. Public transport buses will also follow the detours, maintaining passenger service with temporary routes.
