Woman who disappeared after asking to go to the bathroom in hospital is found missing after 13 days in Marília

According to the police report registered by the victim's mother at the Echaporã Police Station, where the family lives, Rosana was diagnosed with schizophrenia and had gone to the HC in Marília accompanied by her mother to undergo an admission procedure. During her stay at the hospital, around 3 pm, the woman asked permission to go to the bathroom. Given the delay in returning, the mother began searching the place and was informed by people at the back entrance of the hospital that her daughter had passed through the gate and continued in an unknown direction. She was awaiting a specialized assessment and, subsequently, a vacancy made available by CROSS for transfer. The Marília HC also highlighted that there was no medical discharge scheduled by the team, with the departure resulting from a voluntary decision by the patient herself, without there being a determination or authorization for discharge by the service.
