App driver is shot after passenger disagrees with the fare in Ribeirão Preto

A 31-year-old app driver had his car hit by four gunshots and was shot in the arm after a passenger disagreed with the price of a ride in Ribeirão Preto (SP) on Saturday night (15). According to the Military Police, the person responsible for the shooting was identified and teams were continuing efforts to locate him. Until the last update of this news, no one had been arrested. When trying to return, as it was a dead-end street, the app driver said he came across the suspect in the middle of the road with a firearm. The driver sped up to leave the scene, at which point shots were fired that hit the car and the driver, who was hit in the left arm.
