Cédric Sbirrazzuoli died this Thursday (20), aged 39. The driver from Monaco made a name for himself in GT racing, reaching the podium of the legendary 24 Hours of Daytona in 2024.

His wife (whom he married in June) announced the death on social media, in a post that said it happened at 9:10 pm (local time) this Thursday - which was also Cédric Sbirrazzuoli's birthday.

Although the cause of death was not specified, fellow pilot Michelle Gatting made a tribute post on social media where she wrote that "Cédric fought cancer with everything he had."
