Mission connects Chinese entrepreneurs to business opportunities in AC, RO and MT

The initiative aimed to present the region's productive potential, bring international investors closer together and expand business and export possibilities with the Asian market. The program began in Rio Branco (AC), on Tuesday (5), with a business meeting that brought together representatives from ApexBrasil, Brazilian and Chinese businesspeople, cooperatives and rural producers. During the agenda, strategic sectors such as agroindustry, bioeconomy, infrastructure, energy, cooperativism and exports were presented, as well as opportunities for internationalization and meetings between companies. The translator and representative of the Chinese delegation, Yun Derek Hao, highlighted that the mission seeks to bring the two countries closer together through the exchange of experiences and the identification of opportunities. "Our delegation brought together businesspeople from different sectors with the aim of learning, in practice, the strength of agribusiness and other production chains in the region. China is very strong in technology, while Brazil stands out in agribusiness. There is great complementarity between the two countries. We came to strengthen this dialogue, build partnerships, develop new ideas and generate businesses that bring benefits to both sides." In addition to institutional meetings, businesspeople carried out technical visits to learn about local production chains. In Acre, the delegation visited Cooperacre, a coffee producing unit, the Frigonosso slaughterhouse and the Export Processing Zone (ZPE). Delegation passing through Acre Disclosure In Vilhena (RO), on Thursday (6), the delegation visited the Favoo School and College, Hubee, an innovation hub, Hospital Cooperar, the administrative headquarters of Sicoob Credisul and Fazenda OCB, a reference in forestry. The program also included meetings with authorities, businesspeople and local leaders to discuss regional development, sustainability, infrastructure and investment opportunities. On Friday (7), the mission continued to Lucas do Rio Verde (MT), with technical visits to agribusiness, a meeting at City Hall and meetings with businesspeople and representatives of the productive sector. The agenda concluded on Saturday (8), with a cultural and ecotourism program in Chapada dos Guimarães (MT). For the president of the Board of Directors of Sicoob Credisul, Ivan Capra, the mission expands the connection between Brazilian and Chinese businesspeople and reinforces the role of the cooperative in creating favorable environments for new businesses. "This mission was born within Sicoob Credisul. Some time ago we carried out an exchange to China and, from this experience, the opportunity to expand this approach arose. Receiving this delegation and presenting the economic potential of our region was an opportunity to strengthen commercial relations and bring investors closer to those who produce. The North region is experiencing a time of many opportunities and our role, as a cooperative financial institution, is to promote the development of the places where we are present, creating a favorable environment for new businesses and partnerships.” The CEO of Sicoob Credisul, Vilmar Saúgo, highlighted that the initiative also seeks to bring international investments closer to local demands. “The expectation with the arrival of this delegation of Chinese businesspeople, as well as other delegations that we intend to receive from different sectors of the economy, is to create opportunities to attract investments, stimulate exports and, at the same time, help solve local challenges. One example was the presence of specialists in the areas of waste, sewage and water treatment. In Vilhena, they met with the SAAE team to learn about the reality of the municipality and we hope that this meeting will be the beginning of a partnership capable of contributing to concrete solutions.
