'FRIO' FAME RETURNED TO THE CENTER OF THE CONVERSATION
Jagger's presence at the stadium revived the joke that the singer brings bad luck to teams in World Cups. His fame began to spread in 2010, when he saw up close the eliminations of the USA, England and Brazil in the same World Cup.
In 2014, the story gained even more strength with the musician's posts and predictions on the networks and at shows. He wished England luck during the tournament in Brazil and saw the team lose to Italy and Uruguay; that year, he was also at Mineirão in Germany's 7-1 victory over Brazil.
In 2018, Jagger once again witnessed an English defeat in the semi-final, this time against Croatia. The history fueled the nickname 'coldfoot' whenever the singer appears at World Cup games.
WHAT LUCIANA GIMENEZ SAID BEFORE THE SEMIFINAL
Luciana Gimenez reacted online to jokes about Jagger's 'cold foot' before the game against Argentina. The presenter criticized the jokes after the singer, father of Lucas Jagger, went to the stadium in Miami to watch England x Norway, in the quarter-finals.
After England beat Norway 2-1 and advanced, Luciana responded to comments from internet users. “Is the joke over now?”, she wrote, and also stated that “this shitty joke has already been made”.
In another publication, she said she considered the games to be in "bad taste" and called critics "extremely limited and without a repertoire". "If we appoint someone who is in the round of 16, and we are not; who is unlucky? Oh, please", he added, in reference to Brazil's elimination to Norway.
