The child was found by his mother in a bucket, in the bathroom of the family home. A unit from the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) was called to rescue him, but he did not survive. The 213th Petrolina Circumscription Police Station opened a police investigation to investigate the circumstances of the case. The investigation remains ongoing.
