According to the elements presented by the Public Ministry, the site is in a fragile mangrove area, where the river meets the sea, and the structure was built on top of the water. The MPPA also pointed out that the enterprise advertised on social media that the event would have sound equipment and that it would start at 11pm. With the decision, those responsible for the space are prevented from holding, promoting, permitting or hiring the event scheduled for this Saturday (15), in addition to other similar programs. Until further court decision, shows, parties, festivals and musical performances with medium or high power sound amplification, automotive sound structures, large screens, LED panels or lighting directed towards mangrove areas and rivers and streams in the area were prohibited. The decision also determined the removal of publications and advertisements relating to the event on social media, which has already been done. "All bracelet amounts will be refunded. Anyone who made the purchase should contact (91) 98470-1012 to request a refund", states the statement. According to the MPPA, the restaurant can continue to operate normally, as long as its licenses from the city hall are up to date and do not use loud sound. In case of non-compliance with the order to suspend events, a fine of R$100,000 per event was imposed. The decision also determines the subpoena of the Municipality of São João de Pirabas and the Municipal Department of the Environment (SEMMA) to inform them of the measure and adopt the appropriate inspection measures. g1 requested a position from the aforementioned bodies, but did not receive responses until the publication of this report.
