Court orders construction of road access for indigenous village in Ubatuba

The decision is from the 1st Federal Court of Caraguatatuba and responds to a public civil action filed by the State Public Defender's Office, the Federal Public Defender's Office (DPU) and the Guarani Yvyrupa Commission. The decision establishes that, after the final decision, an executive project must be prepared within 180 days for the construction of a road with traffic conditions for pedestrians and vehicles. The work must be completed within one year after judicial approval of the project. The process points out that the problem has been known by public authorities for years.
