When announcing the suspension, judge José Mauro Nagib Jorge, from the 11th Criminal Court of Cuiabá, reported that one of the jurors had health problems during the night and needed to receive medical attention from the Court of Justice team.
According to the judge, the juror has chest problems and must urgently undergo a tomography scan to assess his clinical condition, initially treated as a viral infection.
Given the situation, the judge decided to dissolve the Sentencing Council. A new date for the trial will be set later. Any requests from the parties must be analyzed in the minutes.
“In view of this relevant issue and to preserve the health of the juror, the other jurors who had contact with him and who could be harmed by the viral condition, as well as everyone present, I decide to dissolve the Sentencing Council”, stated the magistrate.
