According to Jander, the measure is contained in an opinion from the CMM Attorney General's Office, sent through Official Letter No. 4,716/2026 and a memorandum dated August 14. Lawyers argued that the measures represented excess caution and an anticipation of the sentence. When analyzing the request, Minister Herman Benjamin understood that there was, at that time, no illegality or urgency that justified the suspension of the measures.
