Man invades restaurant and tries to kill ex in SC, but is restrained until police arrive A 28-year-old woman was stabbed by her ex-partner while working at a restaurant in Penha, on the North Coast of Santa Catarina, this Wednesday morning (12). The woman was taken to hospital in serious condition. Footage from a surveillance camera shows the woman cleaning the floor when the attacker runs in holding a knife in his hand. She runs away and he ends up slipping. The woman then manages to lock herself in the bathroom. The attacker follows and starts kicking the door several times. After a while, he manages to enter and stab the woman with the knife. Then, a co-worker of hers enters the bathroom to help the victim. She manages to restrain the attacker's hand. With that, another colleague and the homeless man manage to take the knife from him. Other pedestrians arrive and help restrain the attacker. After the arrival of the Military Police, he was arrested and detained in the act at the police station.
