According to the report made to the police, the violence began after the companion arrived at the residence apparently drunk. The woman stated that she was hanged and forced, through violence, to perform a sexual act.

Then, according to the complaint, the man forced her into a vehicle. During the journey, he allegedly punched the pregnant woman in the abdomen several times while saying he did not want the child she was expecting.

Suspect was arrested at victim's home

Shortly after the attacks, police officers located the suspect at the woman's home. He was driving the same vehicle that, according to the complaint, had been used during the crime and was arrested red-handed.

During the approach, the team found that the man did not have a license to drive and showed signs of intoxication. The breathalyzer test recorded 0.63 milligrams of alcohol per liter of alveolar air.

After arrest, the suspect was taken to the Uberaba Duty Station. The case remains under the responsibility of the police authorities.
