The game Flamengo opened the scoring in the 22nd minute of the first half. After a mistaken exit from goalkeeper Walter, Plata received it on the left and passed it to Carrascal. The Colombian midfielder finished first and put the visitors ahead.
In the final stage, Flamengo expanded after eight minutes. Pedro called on Luiz Araújo, who took the ball to the middle and hit a strong shot to make it 2-0.
