HOW WAS THE GAME
Flamengo started the match with a blitz in the attacking field, cornered Cruzeiro and had three great chances to open the scoring. First, Jorginho delivered a precise cross to Léo Ortiz, who knocked the paint off the post. Then, Samuel Lino received the ball at the edge of the area and took a risk, but sent it into the middle. Soon after, Pulgar took advantage of Cruzeiro's error in the ball and called Pedro, who saw Otávio grow in the move.
Rubro-Negro continued to dominate and wasted more chances with Samuel Lino and Pedro, who they sent out. Afterwards, Cabuloso managed to contain the momentum of the home team, but continued to rely on counterattacks and barely passed the midfield, making Rossi a mere spectator.
The pressure from the home team finally had an effect, and Arrascaeta opened the scoring with a great goal.
