Some brands have prepared exclusive collections for the Amazonian public. Among them is Filho de Mercúrio (PE), by illustrator and designer Eduardo Amorim. "I discovered Manaus in April, during an edition of Feira D, and fell in love with the city. Now, I have prepared a collection of illustrations inspired by everything I saw", he said. The pieces feature references to local fauna, with manual silkscreen and linocut prints. The collection will have a limited edition and includes references to oxen from Parintins, Caprichoso and Garantido, as well as a partnership with local brand Pacovã. Memories Graphic designer and ceramicist Jansseem Cardoso, from the brand Javari (SP), was born in Benjamin Constant, in Vale do Javari, but lives in Bauru. Away from Amazonas since 2011, he presents a collection inspired by the fauna and affectionate memories of the region. "I work a lot with indigenous and Latin American masks. I'm also taking jugs of jaguars, monkeys and oxen from Parintins. People can expect to look at the pieces and recognize themselves in some way. I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone's reaction", he comments. Designer Bruna Arsati, from Greta Ateliê (SC), returns to Manaus with pieces that have already been part of the brand's catalog since her first visit to the city. “So we are going to take pieces in the shape of a water lily – both earrings and brooches – in addition to the pirarucu and the wall stingray that have already become classics, but we also made them especially for Manaus”, she explains, remembering that it will also feature pieces commemorating Parintins, such as necklaces with blue and red stones to represent Caprichoso and Garantido, respectively. “Not to mention the spring creations with fun and colorful flowers.” Pakatatu (RJ), by designer Gustavo Coelho, brings decorative pieces with new painting and finishing techniques. "We are very happy with the result and with everything we are discovering in this process. We did research on the fauna and flora of the Amazon and, based on this, we created our own interpretations, bringing our more playful and detailed look. The public can expect a collection that is, above all, a tribute to culture, with a lot of Brazilianness and a recovery of the memories and stories that are part of us", he concludes. In addition to the highlights, Feira D brings together creators from Acre, Alagoas, Pará, Minas Gerais, Ceará and Amazonas. Among them are Euevoco, Sagrado Barro, Brilho da Mata, Pacovã, Casa Decorare, Estúdio 092, Tropicália and Zeus Achetti.
