Fecani 2026: festival publishes list of 30 classified songs; see order of presentation

The event takes place between September 4th and 6th, in Itacoatiara, Amazonas. Liam Cavalcante/Rede Amazônica The organization of the Itacoatiara Song Festival (Fecani 2026) released the updated list of the 30 songs classified for the 41st edition. The list defines the order of presentations that will take place in the qualifiers on September 4th and 5th. The program takes place at the Juracema Holanda Events Center Recognized as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Amazonas, the event is held by the Association of Itacoatiarenses Residents in Manaus (AIRMA). In addition to the traditional song contest, Fecani brings together more than 40 cultural and sporting activities, as well as shows by attractions such as Carrapicho, David Assayag, Edmundo Oran, Filho do Piseiro and Molejo. ? The grand final will be held on September 6th, bringing together the 12 best compositions. In this edition, the selected works represent six states: Amazonas, São Paulo, Pará, Amapá, Rio de Janeiro and Roraima. The capital of Amazonas, Manaus, leads the number of competitors with 10 songs classified, followed by Itacoatiara, the event's headquarters, with seven songs in the running. The festival also brings together representatives from the municipalities of Belém (PA), Macapá (AP), Boa Vista (RR), São Paulo (SP), Santana de Parnaíba (SP), Praia Grande (SP), Jaboticabal (SP) and Três Rios (RJ).
