‘Cosmic experience’: resident of Mogi das Cruzes sees total solar eclipse in Spain

The place has around 20 streets and 42 registered residents, but receives many visitors during the summer. For the student, the size of the city made the experience even more memorable. "Being such a small place, everything was very intimate. After the eclipse we had a party, we talked about what we had seen and celebrated together. It was literally a celebration," he said. "My family was in Madrid and I wanted to be able to transmit some of that magic. It was very special to see the end of the eclipse and see the Sun reappearing.
